Yarralin, Timber Creek, Lajamanu We are seeking experienced and highly motivated Registered Nurses for short to long-term contracts providing primary healthcare services and emergency medicine to remote Aboriginal communities in the Northern Territory. Start dates will vary depending on location, and length of availability. In addition, we offer free travel to and from contract and free accommodation on-site for all contracts. As a remote area nurse, you will be responsible for conducting patient assessments, diagnoses, and treatment plans, administering medications and treatments as prescribed, providing education and support to patients and families on health-related issues, maintaining accurate and up-to-date medical records and working on call/attending to call outs after hours. What you will bring: At least 2 years of Post Graduate nursing experience Strong emergency experience and/or primary health/community nursing experience ALS is desired, BLS at minimum Immunisation giving certificate is highly desired and beneficial If you are passionate about Aboriginal health and making a difference in the lives of those living in remote areas AND have the skills and experience we are looking for, we encourage you to apply!
